Credentialling
Process
Doctors seeking accreditation at the Hospital have several options.
- If a you are accredited at another
Ramsay facility and all paperwork is in order, please advise the
Executive Officer on (02) 9717 0101 and arrangements can be
made to access this information.
- Accreditation documentation is able
to be downloaded directly, completed and faxed to us at 9525
1606.

- Alternatively you can contact the
Executive Office on (02) 9717 0101 for this information to
be forwarded to you by fax or mail.
Please note that your application will be
able to be processed more promptly if you ensure that the following
are included:
- Copy of current medical registration
- Copy of current medical indemnity
insurance showing relevant specialty covered and expiry date
- Copy of CV
- Written references will be requested
from the referees
Review of Credentialing Application
- Upon receiving your completed application,
the application will be reviewed by the CEO of Kareena Private
Hospital together with the Specialty Medical Advisory Committee
Representative
- At this point temporary accreditation
may be granted for a short period of time
- Supported applications are then
referred to the Medical Advisory Credentialling Committee
Mtg (held quarterly) for consideration
- Upon endorsement by the Medical
Advisory Committee, the doctor’s names and details are referred to the Ramsay Board for ratification
- A letter confirming Accreditation
at Kareena Private Hospital will then be forwarded to the
doctor.
