Kareena staff join the Sutherland to Surf fun run!

On Sunday 22nd July, a team of Kareena staff braved the down pour and completed the 11km down hill Sutherland to Surf fun run and walk from Sutherland to Wanda beach.

Despite the dreary weather many of the Kareena Private staff joined the run, or walk ending with a BBQ at the finish line.

The fun run & walk travelled directly past Kareena Private Hospital with many patients, staff and spectators cheering on from the side lines.

Kareena Private hosted the post race lunch for the local GP community who participated in the event as well as all the Kareena Private staff.

This year had the largest attendance to date with over 7500 participants for the 41st annual Sutherland to Surf event.

The Sutherland to Surf raises funds for Wanda Surf Life Saving Club to help continue their valuable surf lifesaving programs for the Sutherland Shire Community.

Kareena Private is proud to be apart of this annual community event and looks forward to another fantastic event next year!
