Kareena Private Hospital continues to take a proactive approach to promoting their employees' health and wellbeing with an ongoing Wellness Program for staff.
The Wellness Program at Kareena Hospital aims to support staff health, personal development and community contribution through a range of activities and initiatives.
The first activity planned for 2013 centres around an annual Wellness Expo to be held in March. Kareena Hospital will host a healthy BBQ lunch for all staff with the opportunity to speak with representatives from various local wellness organisations including HIP Super, ME Bank, Endota Spa Gymea, Hesta, Bupa, Fitness First, Breastscreen Australia and HCF.
A special guest appearance will be made by a couple of current Cronulla Sharks players to the Wellness Expo providing staff with an insight into healthy lifestyles.
Kareena Private Hospital CEO, Steven Schultze said "At Kareena we value our staff and devote resources every year to ensuring they remain healthy and smiling. This in turn assures that our patients reap the benefits. We also would like to thank our sponsors who assist in making these events possible."
Kareena Private Hospitals Wellness Program has a comprehensive range of initiatives across the wellness spectrum including health assessments, financial wellness, employee assistance programs, flu vaccinations, mental health awareness activities, community involvement and much more. The Wellness program isn't about being fit, but focused at meeting the needs and interests of all Kareena Private staff.
