Kareena supports Christmas giving at Miranda Aged Care
Dec 22, 2009
Kareena annually selects a local nursing home and arrange a Christmas Giving Tree to collect gifts for residents of the nursing home.

This year we selected Miranda Nursing Home, who has a number of Kareena patients in their home.
Kareena staff donate suitable items as suggested by the nursing home, this year this included requests for recreational items.   We donated gifts such as large playing cards, sudoko and crossword puzzle books, personal care such as creams, nail polish, socks, and a large outdoor chess set.
The presents were delivered to Miranda Aged Care by our Medical ward NUM Sandra Fryz and our discharge planner Kim Boyd and were gratefully received.  The Director of Nursing, Julia Emmott, thanked all the staff for their generosity.
This presentation was on the back of a very successful Christmas Lunch for the Directors of Nursing of our local homes attended by our Director of Clinical Services Richard Ryan, Sandra Fryz and Kim Boyd.
