The Spirit of Christmas at Kareena Hospital
Dec 19, 2012
Kareena Private will spread some Christmas cheer in the coming weeks for all our patients and visitors with some bright and festive Christmas decorations.

Each department has been given the opportunity to decorate their areas in the chosen theme “Red & Green- The Christmas Colours”.
The Christmas decorations will be hung with care by our staff to bring some added Christmas spirit to the wards.
Kareena Hospital hopes that all our patients and visitors enjoy the different decorations as they wander through the wards.
Botany Bay ward will continue with tradition and host their annual Christmas tree of giving.  This year Botany Bay will be supporting the local homeless population of the Sutherland Shire through the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
The Sutherland Shire has very limited housing for homeless, particularly single men, the 2012 Sutherland Shire homeless forum has been told. There are no support services for single homeless men or women in the Shire.  It is estimated the every night more than 100,000 people across Australia are left homeless.
The Kingsway Ward who cares for surgical adult and Paediatric patients ran a toy drive which was donated to Sydney Children’s Hospital to bring a smile to the faces of those children who are in hospital over the holiday period.
Kareena Private Hospital would like to wish all our staff, patients, Doctors and visitors a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
