Dr Dan Krishnan is a highly skilled Endo-Gynaecologist and Complex Pelvic Surgeon specialising in Gynaecological Endoscopy and Robotic Surgery. He is passionate about the minimally invasive approach to surgical gynaecology, especially for treating Endometriosis and Adenomyosis. Dan spent two years at the prestigious Sydney Minimally Invasive Gynaecology Surgery (SMIGS) unit, an AGES-accredited fellowship at the Sutherland Hospital, where he now holds a staff specialist position as part of the faculty.
Having completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland and working across Australia, such as Western Australia and Queensland, Dan brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and surgical skills to manage complex pelvic surgeries. Dan also spent some time post-fellowship upskilling in robotic surgery, especially in the excision of endometriosis and hysterectomies across Europe. He tries to take an annual trip to bask in the endless operating theatres of world-class surgeons, learning and absorbing up-to-date techniques, and often looks forward to the culinary feast at the end of the day.
Dan was born and raised on a quaint island, Penang, in Northern Malaysia. As a natural foodie, he spends his time outside of the operating theatre in the kitchen.
