Dr Guy Henry is a Paediatric and General Surgeon who has been practicing in Sydney for over 20 years. His interests include general paediatric surgery (including circumcision), hypospadias, minimally invasive surgery (keyhole surgery), gastroesophageal reflux surgery, oncological surgery and foetal malformations. He has worked at Sutherland Hospital for over 17 years as well as Sydney Children's Hospital

Dr Guy Henry is a Paediatric and General Surgeon who has been practicing in Sydney for over 20 years. He is based at Sydney Children's Hospital in Randwick, and also consults and operates in the Sutherland Shire and on the lower North Shore.

His interests include general paediatric surgery (including circumcision), hypospadias, minimally invasive surgery (keyhole surgery), gastroesophageal reflux surgery, oncological surgery and foetal malformations.

Raised in Sydney, Dr Henry did his undergraduate degree at the University of NSW and trained at a number of hospitals including Prince of Wales Hospital, Royal Alexandria Hospital for Children Camperdown, New Children's Hospital Westmead and Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick. He obtained his general surgical fellowship in 1994. He undertook a Paediatric Trauma Fellowship at Children's National Medical Center, Washington DC and obtained his paediatric surgical fellowship in 1997.

Dr Guy Henry operates at the following hospitals:

  • The Sutherland Hospital, Sutherland.

Dr Henry is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and is heavily involved in the activities of the college having previously served on the NSW State Committee for 8 years and now is a member of the Board in Paediatric Surgery. He is presently the Senior Examiner in Paediatric Surgery. He is also a member of the Australian Association of Paediatric Surgeons , holding an executive role and the Australian Medical Association.

Dr Henry has four children, loves his rugby and is a keen but often unsuccessful fisherman.
